The Twin Falls Optimist Club has served the youth of our area for over 50 years and has taken the next step in helping meet the needs of local youth with the Twin Falls Optimist Foundation, a 501(c)(3).
There are kids that don’t have the means to take care of basic needs, that’s why we are embarking on a mission to create a perpetual source of income to support our work in our community.
We aim to raise $250,000 through donors like yourselves through an endowment. This goal will allow us to impact AT LEAST 15,000 kids EVERY 10 YEARS.
It is the Optimist belief that we can influence the world around us. We strive to speak health, happiness and prosperity to everyone we meet. Through the outreach of our Foundation we can continue to be a resource many youth can rely on to see their need and fill it. Thank you for considering joining us on our mission to serve our Magic Valley youth.
We are excited that the Foundation will allow our club to seek a new class of donations from entities that require the tax status of a 501(c)(3). This includes direct gifting, grants, endowments, estate gifts, and other foundations. All our fundraising donations are now processed through the Foundation.
The Foundation administration and operation expenses are provided by the Twin Falls Optimist club therefore 100% of the donations go directly to the youth needs in our community. The CPA firm of Tilley & Lincoln under the direction of Douglas Lincoln manage the Foundation funds.
The Twin Falls Optimist Club has always remained steadfast in its mission to support and uplift our youth. With a proud legacy of service, our club—comprised of 70 dedicated community members—continues to invest time and talent into creating opportunities for young people in our area. We are excited about the positive impact the Foundation will bring and look forward to the expanded benefits it will provide for the youth we serve.
