The Twin Falls Optimist Club is excited to announce our annual Optimist Essay Contest, and we’re looking for talented young writers from across the area to participate!

This contest offers students an incredible opportunity to showcase their writing skills while exploring meaningful topics that matter to their generation. Participants will craft essays that demonstrate optimism, creativity, and thoughtful analysis of important issues facing today’s youth.

How it works:

• Students submit their essays to compete at the local Twin Falls level
• Our local winner advances automatically to the Pacific Northwest District competition
• District winners then compete nationally for the top prizes
• The rewards are substantial: National winners can earn scholarship money up to $2,500 to help fund their educational goals. Even reaching the district level brings recognition and valuable experience in competitive writing.
