Service Club Signs Welcome You to Twin Falls

This project started back in 2018 to replace the three existing service club signs. They are located at the entrance into Twin Falls at Addison Avenue West, Kimberly Road East, and the Twin Falls Cemetery. The signs along Addison Avenue and Kimberly Road were installed in 1960 and 1961. The Visitor Center sign was removed when the Twin Falls Chamber of Commerce rebuilt its center in 2015.

Ten Service Clubs got involved with the project along with the City of Twin Falls, the City of Twin Falls provided funds to do a 4th sign out along Washington Street South.

The ten clubs are:
  1. Rotary Club of Twin Falls – Blue Lakes
  2. Rotary Club of Twin Falls
  3. Rotary Club of Twin Falls – After Hours
  4. Optimist Club of Twin Falls
  5. Twin Falls Lodge #45
  6. Kiwanis Club of Twin Falls
  7. Twin Falls Shine Club
  8. Lions Club of Twin Falls
  9. Magic Valley Young Professionals

Each Club had a representative on the committee to provide input on the project. The committee decided to use Lytle Signs to manufacture and install the signs.

The Visitor Center’s Sign was the first to be installed in August of 2020. The Addison Avenue West sign was installed in December of 2020. The committee had to work with the Idaho Transportation Department to receive a permit as the existing and new sign is located on their property. The remodel of the Kimberly Road East sign was completed also in December of 2020. In 2020 COVID came along and stalled the location for the 4th sign. Finally, in 2023, the committee received permission from the City of Twin Falls to install the 4th sign in the future expansion of Vista Bonita Park directly south of the new Fire Station along Washington Street. The 4th sign was installed along with the emblems and meeting places of the service club in July of 2024.
