The Optimist Essay Contest is designed to develop writing and critical thinking skills. Our Club winners receive $150, $125 and $100 for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. The winning essay will go on to compete in the District Contest for a $2,500 scholarship awarded by Optimist International each year. The topic for the 2020 year was :

“Is Optimism the Key to Achieving the Dreams you Imagine?”
